Mountain Science Exploration

July 17-21, 2017 at Mars Hill University

Madison County (NC) and Mars Hill University are hosting a weeklong summer program for high school students.  This camp includes activities to expose students to the ecology, natural resources, and outdoor recreation opportunities in western North Carolina.  Educational activities include learning about diversity of plants and animals in the region, a citizen science project on the Appalachian Trail, and outdoor leadership.
